London
London is a tourist favourite and always has enough to do no matter how many times you visit.

See the world famous Big Ben, Houses of Parliament, and Westminster Abbey. Take a short walk past 10
Downing St to Trafalgar Square to feed the pigeons. Stroll down The Mall to Buckingham Palace London's
Royal Residence. Take a boat ride or stroll the grounds of Hyde Park. Go shopping on Oxford St and see
Piccadilly Circus all lit up at night.

Explore the many museums such as the Natural History, Science, Victoria and Albert, or British. See the
many galleries such as the Tate Modern or National Portrait. See a West End musical on Shaftesbury Ave,
enjoy the seedy nightlife of Soho, explore London's Chinatown nearby. Take a stroll down the Embankment
past the London Eye to Tower Hill and the majestic Tower Bridge next to the Tower of London and HMS
Belfast.

Travel to East London and famous Greenwich home to the maritime clipper the Cutty Sark and the National
Maritime Museum. See the vibrant new Docklands area and Stratford future home to the 2012 Olympics
and go for a spicy curry on Brick Lane.

Take a day trip to the Royal court at Windsor and the royal favourite Eton College. Continue further to
Stonehenge and the historic city of Bath. Visit the cliffs of Dover and majestic Dover Castle which hides a
subterranean network of WWII tunnels used to monitor the German and is preserved as daily life was
during the war. See the historic centre of learning Cambridge or Shakespeare's home Stratford upon Avon.
Enjoy the pebbled beach of Brighton, its famous pier, and Regal Pavilion.
Bratislava
Bratislava is an undiscovered secret only an hours train ride from Vienna.

The Capital of Slovakia has lived under Austrian Hapsburg rule and was the Hungarian capital when
the Ottomans were in Budapest. It is a sharp contrast to its Viennese neighbour and has a preserved
historic town centre without the encroachments of a modern capital city. The impressive Hrad Castle
overlooking the Danube is a charming fairy tale castle and the crown tower is a vantage point for the
best views of the city. The summer coronation re-enacts the Hungarian crowning ceremony.

The Primates Palace is a legacy to the Hapsburg rule when this was a provincial capital of the empire.
Grassalkovich Palace is seat to the modern day Presidency while St Michaels Gate is the impressive
welcome to the old city centre. The Slovak National Theatre is also an impressive work of architecture.

Continue further into Eastern Europe and see Prague or Budapest.
Prague
Prague has been called 'the Paris of Eastern Europe' and its easy to see why tourists are flocking in their
droves. Reminiscent of Disneyland style architecture, this charming city on the Danube has managed to
withstand the ravages of Communist rule and commercial exploitation to retain the elegance of its natural
splendour.

Prague straddles the Danube with the historic old town on one side, and the Royal Palace and Castle on
the other overlooking from a hilltop. Joining the two is the majestic Charles Bridge with spans the Danube
lined by an array of artists showing the many guises of this lovely span. The most striking feature of the old
town is the town square and the twin towers of the Church of Our Lady before Tyn and the Old Town Hall
clock tower. Every hour as the clock strikes two figures appear like cuckoos to enchant the gathered crowd.
The Jewish quarter is also testament to the local inhabitants.

The other side of the Danube houses Prague castle atop a steep hill. The castle walls house the Royal
Palace with its medieval grand hall as well as the Presidential Palace. St Vitus Cathedral also allows a
mighty view of the castle and old town by ascending its main tower. The Lobkowicz Palace houses the
historical collection of the national museum while the Golden Lane is a bustling street lined with artisans
reminiscent of the glory days of the old town.

Continue your journey in Eastern Europe to Berlin.
Berlin
This historic divided city has remnants of its communist occupation as
well the splendour of its imperial past.

Visit the famous Brandenburg Gate, long the rallying symbol of the
divided city. See legendary Checkpoint Charlie and the Berlin Wall
Museum. Admire the view of the city from the glass dome of the
Reichstags German Parliament.

See the impressive Berliner Dom cathedral and discover the nearby
museums to the classical world. Take a trip out to Potsdam the Royal
country estate of the Kaiser and see the Neues Palais and the elegant
Schloss Sanssouci.
Amsterdam
The canal city where anything goes with its popular Red Light District to marijuana sales.

Take a canal boat tour of the city to discover the famous ringed canals and assortment of bridges. See the
Koninklijk Paleis the city's Royal residence. Visit Anne Frankhuis home of this wartime heroine and the
Rijksmuseum home to the treasures of Rembrandt or the Van Gogh Museum. Explore the Nederlands
Scheepvaart Museum recording the Dutch maritime past. Wander the red light district at night and see the
friendly ladies waiting to greet the tourists!
Budapest
Paris
Paris the city of romance and lights awaits you.

Take an elevator up the world famous Tour Eiffel for a spectacular view of the city. Visit the Arc de Triumph
and stroll down the Champs Elysees. Discover the treasures of the Louvre as well as the priceless Mona
Lisa. See Notre Dame and take a river cruise down the Seine. See the artistic Latin Quarter or ride the
Metro to the modern Defense financial sector.

Ride to the suburban Chateau de Versailles magnificent tribute to the Sun King Louis XIV. See the
stunning Hall of Mirrors, the impressive Gardens of Versailles and the majestic tapestries depicting the
history of France.

Take the Eurostar back to London or continue your adventures further into France.
Istanbul
Taste the orient on this majestic city straddling the borders of Europe. Discover the heartland
of the Ottomans whose reach extended into the Balkans and the gates of Vienna.

See the Suleymaniye Mosque and its majestic six minarets and the multi domed Blue
Mosque and sparkling blue Iznik tiles. Enter the colossus Haghia Sophia dating back to the
Byzantines. Admire the architecture and detailed workmanship of the Ottoman treasures in
Topkapi Palace and take a trip to the imperial Dolmabahce Palace on the Bosphorus.

Wander through the fabled Spice Bazaar, see the remains of the Hippodrome from the city's
ancient past as Constantinople. Take a ride up the Bosphorus to the medieval Yedikule
Castle and Theodosian Walls or the mighty Fortress of Europe.

Only in Istanbul can you visit an authentic Turkish Bath, haggle with local merchants for
impressive hand made area silk rugs, experience the mystical Dirvish meditation dance.

Take a day trip across the Sea of Marmara to the town of Bursa, the original Ottoman capital
before Constantinople fell, with its ancient city centre, bazaar and spa baths.
Another undiscovered jewel of Eastern Europe, Budapest has all the appeal of Prague without the
swarm of tourists. Like Prague, Budapest is separated by the Danube, with the historic Palace and  
Citadel on the Buda side, while the eastern Pest side is the bustling modern day city.

Cross the majestic Chain Bridge which spans the Danube to the historic castle district of Buda. Take a
funicular car up to the top of the mount to see the Buda Royal Palace home to Hungarian art treasures.
Explore the district and see the Matyas Church and the imposing Fisherman's Bastion monument with its
peaked towers. Climb the adjacent mount to see the Citadella and its majestic views of the Pest side of the
city. Take a dip in the Szent Gellert Turkish baths.

On Pest see the imposing riverside Parliament building, go shopping on Vaci Uti, or visit Vajdahunyad
Castle and nearby Heroes Square. Experience the eastern influences of this city touched by the Ottomans.
See the mix of preserved Victorian architecture with gothic Transylvania's influences.
